Joakim Jönsson from the Division of Combustion Physics, Lund University, will give a talk related to the launching of a GPU-Monte Carlo software for the simulation of light propagation through turbid media. Possible applications includes photon transport in biomedical tissues, scattering of light through spray systems, propagation of laser beams though clouds, imaging through turbid liquids, etc.
